One of the first meaderies to spring up in the country during the new mead craze, Redstone Meadery offers free tours and samples of their delicious honey wines. With beverages ranging from light, sparkling nectars to heavier honey wines, the meadery has a fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages; favorites include the Juniper Mountain Honey Wine and the Black Raspberry Nectar. Located east of downtown, the meadery sits beside the Boulder bike path.

The tour is short. maybe 20-30 minutes, but the mead tasting that goes on before and afterwards is very worthwhile. The carbonated drinks are much lighter, while the non-carbonated pack a bit of a kick.
