The National Center for Atmospheric Research is an organization dedicated to exploring the mysteries behind the atmosphere the surrounds all of us. The center's headquarters are located just south of Chautauqua Park. Visitors are welcome at the center to take a gander at the many hands-on exhibits that give a glance into how a working laboratory actually works.
