Another horrible dentist.

Posted by HYEX_pectations on 11/12/2009

My wait was a half an hour. Dentist assistant was completely incompetent. I am getting tested for mercury poising due to her lack of basic knowledge. Dentist was really nice, but completely unprofessional. Had to show the assistant how to do seemingly basic things. I felt like a test dummy. Even after showing her, she would continually forget. He even grabbed things out of her hand in the middle of drilling. I was extremely uncomfortable. Please save yourself.

Don't Go!

I can't speak for the Boulder office, however Bright Now attempted to rip me off at their DT Denver location. They were trying to charge me $1700 for special cleanings and 6 cavities. I have gone to the dentist regularly all my life and have never had a cavity. I thought it odd that suddenly 6 would appear. I decided to pay out of pocket for a second opinion. Sure enough, I was told I had no cavities and my teeth and gums were perfectly healthy. After my experience, I searched to see if others had similar experiences. I found the same thing had happened to patients at the South Denver and Belmar locations.Be weary, and if they tell you that you need lots of work - get a second opinion!!!

Terrible Experience

Posted by Alan M. on 7/10/2009

It was my misfortune to go to this dentist. The cleaning was poorly done, with little care for my comfort. I then had a cavity that i opted to have filled. It was miserable. They cut my gums, were unable to properly complete the filling, and I had to come back. Even after a second try, I needed to go back to another dentist, as I was completely unwilling to go back a third time.

Dr. change without notification

This company may change dentists without notifying you. They also refuse to tell you where the previous dentist is practicing,

If you are looking for a dental office that treats you like a number, and tries to see as many patients as possible, and uses the cheapest materials and lab in town, then go to Bright Now Dental. Oh, and if end up unhappy and you want to transfer to another dentist, you have to go back to their office to sign a consent form and pay $25 for copies of x-rays you already paid for. The dentist I transferred to always makes duplicates of patient's x-rays, and told me he does not charge for x-rays if a patient would like to change dentists. He also said he would send the x-rays to the new dentist - not make you go back to his office to pick them up. He probably does not have to charge, as I doubt many patients leave his practice!
